Doesn't help that Velvet keeps saying ".come on, really?" which I'm guessing she says whenever a battle is poorly fought, lol. I find myself just assigning whichever Arte that sounds good then mashing during battle 'til win.

I feel like I'm not using the combo mechanic to its full potential though. Even the simple matter of how user friendly the interface is (just had to mention this since the last of the newer games I played had a rather frustrating interface-WoFF). I'll hold some other thoughts for now, but basically I'm loving everything game has to offer. I'm wondering how many hours worth of gameplay the whole story is not including the side quests. I am, thanks! 10 hours and counting and I've just reached Loegress.

Sorry I can't provide a complete list of in-game costumes, but hopefully this helps tell you how to find them! Also, I hope you've been enjoying the game! :D Also, more items and costumes are unlocked for purchase as you amass party members and proceed farther into the game, so check back from time to time for new stuff. In one playthrough, I received around 1500 or so from just random shiny spots, so you'll have a good chance of at least getting one costume for free, and more if you play mini-games for Tales Coins. The best costumes in my opinion are the ones that change the battle music, though they cost something like 1200 each (they actually don't change your look, but being able to hear other music while fighting can be pretty awesome). These all require Tales Coins (found randomly at shiny spots or collected by playing mini-games, provided by said Katz and other people). He, along with some other Katz you'll find and a few other people, are actually a great source to get in-game special costumes, rare items, and forging materials. A few even make the characters look like giant mascots (Normin).Īctually, if you've gotten far enough to have made it to Port Zekson (I think that's the one off the top of my head), you'll see a Katz with balloons attached standing near the pier. Some are simple recolors while others take off a jacket or a hat. Similarly, saving the Katz will give you both costumes and attachments. While I don't have the luxury of providing a list (thanks, phone), I can say that doing the sidequests (exclamation marks) and sleeping in the inn when you see an exclamation mark can potentially give you costumes. Hope you've been enjoying yourself so far! Hey, glad to see you're already eight hours in.
